Why was my scholarship application started for me?

If you received an award in a previous year that was eligible for either

  • Renewal for one or more years

  • Reapplication to be considered for another award, the Community Foundation created a draft application on your behalf. You should have received a notification email about this.

  • Please do not create a new scholarship application at this time.

  • Complete the renewal application or reapply application as requested, in order to be considered for a future award.

If you are a Reapply applicant, you will be automatically considered for other potential awards at the Community Foundation.

If you are a Renewal applicant, you must also complete a new general application to be considered for other potential awards at the Community Foundation. Renewal applications are much shorter than the general scholarship application, in order to make it an easier process.
