What is the difference between a Donor Advised Fund and a Business Advised Fund?

A Donor Advised Fund is for individuals or families; a Business Advised Fund is for companies or other legal entities.

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is established by an individual or family. A Business Advised Fund is established by a company, LLC, partnership, or similar entity. The giving vehicle works similarly in both cases — the primary difference is in the legal identity of the Founder and the documentation we collect.
